An early morning fire on Sunday destroyed two shops at the Mainline of Mgbuka Obosi market in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State. The blaze, which was caused by a power surge, affected two stores and a provision shop. Thankfully, many other stores in the market were saved by the prompt response of firefighters. Chief Fire Officer Chukwudi Chiketa confirmed that no lives were lost in the incident and advised the public to remain vigilant about fire safety.
