Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming Edo governorship election, has officially ended his campaign activities in compliance with electoral regulations.
According to a statement from the Team Asue Media Organisation (TAMO), signed by Erhabor Emokpae, all campaign efforts ceased as of September 19. The statement emphasized that any further publications, advertisements, jingles, or promotional materials related to the campaign post-deadline have not been authorized by Ighodalo or his team.
Ighodalo expressed his deep appreciation for the support and engagement from the people of Edo throughout the campaign. He urged voters to participate actively in the election, safeguard their votes, and ensure that their collective will is represented at the polls.
The campaign’s official close marks the end of all related activities, and Ighodalo will not be held responsible for any actions or communications conducted beyond the stipulated closing time.
