“Don’t let negative words stop your progress” – Toyin Abraham admonishes as she shows support for Toke Makinwa
Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham, known to give out daily nuggets to her millions of followers, has given them important advice.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a goofy video of her stepping out in style for Toke Makinwa’s fragrance launch, she noted how dirty water doesn’t stop plants from growing. As such, her fans and followers shouldn’t allow negative words to stop their progress.
“Dirty water doesn’t stop plants from growing, so don’t let negative words stop your progress. Out for my girl @tokemakinwa

Last week, Toyin Abraham shared a cryptic post hours after reigniting movie battle with her colleague and rival, Funke Akindele.
The mum of one stated that no one is perfect, as she noted how people make mistakes. However, they get up, learn, grow, move on and live.
This came after Toyin reignited movie battle with Funke Akindele after she teased her newest project.
Taking to her Instagram page, Toyin revealed that a sequel to her popular movie, Alakada, will premiere in December. She announced that the sequel’s title will be ‘Bad and Boujee’.
The news had left many divided as some noted how the actress was following in the footsteps of her rival, Funke Akindele, who announced a week back a sequel to her hit movie, Jenifa. She revealed that a spinoff from the Jenifa franchise, Everybody Loves Jenifa, would premiere in December.
It is no longer news that there have been years of rivalry between the two screen goddesses, Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele, as they have both dominated the TV screen for years and are still doing so.
However, the two ladies settled their differences last year as Toyin Abraham celebrated Funke on her birthday, and she reciprocated. Toyin had also attended Funke Akindele’s movie premiere, which further shut down rumours of animosity between the box office Queens.
Last week, Toyin penned an open letter to Funke, speaking about how fan wars caused their unnecessary feud and congratulated her for achieving the one billion landmark in the cinema. Funke reacted to the post, wishing Toyin all the best.
