Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has playfully teased his friend and colleague Toyin Abraham about her weight and tummy.

Toyin, who is married to Kolawole Ajeyemi, visited Ibrahim’s film village and described it as beautiful. In a video she shared online, Ibrahim and other cast members joked with Toyin, telling her not to eat too much because of her stomach. Toyin defended herself, noting that she had lost weight and claimed she only chews gum.

“I went to visit my darling uncle @ibrahimchatta_lordthespis. His film village is so beautiful, I mean extremely beautiful.”

It’s refreshing to see Toyin in high spirits, especially after being in the spotlight for negative reasons recently.

Over the weekend, Toyin faced criticism for congratulating Kehinde Bankole on her Best Actress win at the AMVCA. Many believed she was pleased because her rival, Funke Akindele, did not win any awards.

She also faced backlash after praising the award ceremony organizers, calling it the best and most authentic so far. Many interpreted this as a slight against Funke.

A week before the event, Toyin reignited her rivalry with Funke by announcing a sequel to her popular movie, Alakada, set to premiere in December. This divided fans, as some felt she was imitating Funke, who had announced a sequel to her hit movie, Jenifa, a week earlier.

Toyin also posted a cryptic message about imperfection, emphasizing that everyone makes mistakes but learns, grows, and moves on.

Additionally, Toyin warned her overzealous fans against responding negatively to her critics. She urged those running fan pages in her name to stop bullying or cursing others, stating that such actions do not affect her.
