Chief Solomon Arenyeka, the newly elected Delta PDP Chairman, addressed reporters after the party’s inaugural meeting at the PDP Secretariat in Asaba. Arenyeka, who emerged as chairman following the Delegate Congress on August 31, 2024, expressed regret over the PDP’s recent loss to the APC in Edo, asserting that such a situation would not occur in Delta.
He emphasized the importance of organization and unity within the party, stating, “We will block all loopholes and reconcile aggrieved members.” Arenyeka highlighted the inaugural meeting’s role in fostering connections among party members and introducing key officers. He affirmed his commitment to strengthening party loyalty and solidifying the PDP’s presence in the state, promising to engage all members to ensure collective success.
