An Instagram video captured the emotional moment when Davido shed tears of joy while Chioma’s father prayed for them at their traditional wedding. The much-anticipated event, held on June 25, 2024, in Lagos State, was filled with both happy and tear-jerking moments.
The video, posted by label executive Ubi Franklin, showed the couple kneeling before Chioma’s parents as her father offered heartfelt prayers. He prayed, “David and Chioma, on Christ the solid rock you will stand. If you think you have made it, what the Lord will do is almost 10 times what you see. You are blessed in the morning, afternoon, and night. Everywhere you go, there will be light. Anywhere you go where there is confusion, your presence will bring direction. As the prayer concluded, Davido’s tear-streaked face was tenderly dabbed by his groomsman.
