This recognition highlights yet another milestone for Davido and Lojay as they become the latest African artists to join the Billboard Honour Roll. The accolade celebrates their achievements on the R&B and Hip Hop charts between August 1, 2023, and July 31, 2024.
Their inclusion comes from Davido’s contribution to Chris Brown’s track ‘Sensational,’ which reached No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay Chart. Davido and Chris Brown have established themselves as a dynamic duo, having collaborated on multiple records, including the recent hit ‘Hmm’ from Chris Brown’s 11th album ’11:11′.
Chris Brown has become a key figure in the Afrobeats genre, collaborating with several Nigerian artists on significant projects. One of his most notable collaborations is with Lojay on the remix of ‘Monalisa,’ which catapulted the song to greater commercial success.
