Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star Davido has presented his personal driver, Tunde Yussuf, with a brand-new Lexus SUV. Yussuf, who also serves as a tour assistant, shared a photo of the vehicle on Instagram, expressing heartfelt gratitude and prayers for Davido.
In his post, Yussuf wrote, “Congratulations to me🙏🙏🙏🙏 God bless you 001 my boss @davido. You no go ever fall my oga. OBO DAN DO AM AGAIN.” The post received over 4,000 likes, including one from Davido, along with numerous congratulatory messages.
This generous gesture reflects Davido’s well-known kindness towards his team. Previously, he gifted aide Afeare Isreal a Toyota Venza for loyalty, and in 2017, he surprised assistant Lateef Biola with a truck for his oil and gas business.
Davido’s philanthropy extends beyond his inner circle; on his birthday in 2021, he raised N250 million for Nigerian orphanages. He also donated N237 million to orphanages last July and N300 million in February.
