Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has made serious allegations against Davido, claiming that the popular artist has used his influence to falsely accuse him of involvement in a Flutterwave and cryptocurrency scam. Krane has taken to social media, specifically X (formerly Twitter), to express his distress and accuse Davido of orchestrating his arrest through corrupt means.
In a series of posts on August 21, 2024, Krane warned that if anything were to happen to him, Davido should be held responsible. He alleged that Davido paid authorities to frame him with false charges in an effort to protect his own interests.
Krane also drew a parallel between his situation and that of the late artist Mohbad, suggesting that justice should not require tragedy. He criticized the use of “bad cops” to tarnish the reputation of the police force and expressed frustration over what he views as a broader issue of oppression and injustice in Nigeria.
Krane’s posts included a call for justice and a plea for public support, emphasizing that he feels he is being targeted for seeking justice. He also accused Davido of being involved in cryptocurrency scams himself and claimed that his current legal troubles are a result of a setup.
