Popular On-Air Personality (OAP), Daddy Freeze, has expressed his gratitude to Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), for his recent apology regarding his previous statements on tithing.
During the ongoing annual national youth convention at RCCG Redemption City, Pastor Adeboye acknowledged his earlier message, stating, “I am going to apologise for making a mistake for saying that if you don’t pay tithe, you will not be making it to heaven. That is wrong. That is not in the Bible.” He emphasized that the scripture teaches followers to pursue peace with all men and holiness, as these are essential for seeing God.
Pastor Adeboye went on to explain the complexity of being “right and wrong at the same time,” using the historical perspective on light’s behavior as an example of evolving understanding in science.
In light of the reactions to the apology, Daddy Freeze took to his Instagram account to commend the General Overseer for his boldness in publicly admitting the mistake, highlighting the importance of humility in leadership.
