Grammy-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, is stepping into the world of Nollywood as an executive producer. The ‘African Giant’ crooner is set to produce his first Nollywood movie, ‘3 Cold Dishes,’ marking his debut in the film industry.
Burna Boy will serve as an executive producer for ‘3 Cold Dishes,’ a project under Black Mic Mac production. The movie will be produced through Spaceship Films, a company co-founded by Burna Boy and his mother, Bose Ogulu.
Co-produced by Black Mic Mac, Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network, ‘3 Cold Dishes’ is directed by Asurf Oluseyi and written by Tomi Adesina. The story unfolds across Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire, exploring themes of strength and resilience.
Asurf Oluseyi, the director, expressed his dedication to bringing the story to life, emphasizing the challenges and efforts behind the film’s creation. The movie features a star-studded cast including Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, Brutus Richards, alongside actors from Ivory Coast and Senegal.
