After spending six months in prison for naira abuse and being released in August 2024, Bobrisky has publicly thanked those who supported him financially during his incarceration, including Don Jazzy.
On August 25, 2024, Bobrisky took to Instagram to express his gratitude to friends, celebrities, and fans who sent him money while he was behind bars. He specifically acknowledged Don Jazzy for his significant contribution of ₦4 million.
In his posts, Bobrisky wrote, “Few people that know me know I love to appreciate favor. God bless you all for standing up for this little child. There are still good people.”
He listed various contributors, stating: “Thank you sir dadda @donjazzy for ₦4,000,000, @victorosimhen9 for ₦3,000,000, @man_like_chico for ₦1,000,000, @dillyumenyiora for ₦3,000,000, @abu_abel_nation for ₦1,000,000, Cory tar for ₦10,000,000, @yhemo_lee for ₦1,500,000, @skjsparvi1 for ₦600,000, Uncle Seun for ₦5,000,000.”
In a separate post, Bobrisky also thanked ten women who supported him, including Tiwa Savage, who he claimed donated ₦2.5 million, and Tonto Dikeh, who gave ₦1 million. He expressed his appreciation, saying, “Women rule the world. I’m going to be appreciating this first set of 10 women in my life.”
