BBNaija star Vee recently opened up about her experiences with love, stating that she has never truly been in love. In an interview on the Dear Ife podcast, she shared her belief that genuine love requires a deep level of trust and vulnerability, which she feels she has yet to achieve.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been in love. To enjoy love, you have to have no guard and completely trust someone, and I think that’s why I haven’t been able to ever truly be there yet,” she explained. While she acknowledges having loved someone, she differentiates that from being “blindly in love.”
Vee highlighted her struggle with trust, noting that while she might overlook some red flags in a partner, dishonesty is a dealbreaker for her. “There is always something, and I’m someone who would see a red flag and fold it into my pocket, but I’m aware of it. One major red flag that causes me to step back is the lies,” she said.
She recounted a troubling incident where she received messages from another woman claiming her partner was being unfaithful. “A random account messaged me with screenshots, saying they had been sending naked pictures to my partner. When I confronted him, he claimed people were sharing his account with him, and the story just didn’t add up. I could sense the lies,” she concluded.
