The NLC and TUC initiated a strike over issues including the National Minimum Wage, electricity rate increase, and band categories, among others.

Subsequently, Aviation Unions have suspended their strike, resulting in the resumption of operations at domestic airports, including Murtala Mohammed Airport Terminal II operated by Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd.
