Professor Epiphany Azinge, recently crowned Asagba of Asaba, has expressed optimism for the future of the Delta North region. He extended his gratitude to the Delta North Traditional Rulers Forum (DNTRF) for their significant support during his coronation on October 5, 2024.
In a letter addressed to Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor II, the Chairman of the Forum and Obi of Owa, the Asagba highlighted the importance of the traditional rulers’ presence at the ceremony, stating that it was a source of great encouragement for him and the people of Asaba. He emphasized that such solidarity would foster harmonious relationships between the traditional rulers and the diverse communities within Delta North.
Professor Azinge also offered prayers for the continued health and longevity of Dr. Efeizomor, wishing him a graceful reign on the throne of his ancestors.
The coronation ceremony saw a high-powered delegation from the DNTRF, including the 2nd Vice Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, Agbogidi Henry Kikachukwu I, and numerous other traditional rulers from across the Delta North senatorial district, reinforcing the unity and collaboration among the region’s traditional leadership.
