Arsenal are reportedly planning to make a move for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen this summer, with an offer around £65 million being prepared. According to Tuttojuve, the North London club is ready to trigger his release clause, reportedly €75 million (£61 million), to secure his services after a stellar season in which Osimhen has contributed 27 goals (22 goals and 5 assists) across all competitions.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, continued his impressive form by scoring a brace in their 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa. The Nigerian international had attracted interest from several top clubs last summer, with Chelsea coming closest to signing him before the deal fell through. Now, amidst ongoing interest from Manchester United, Arsenal are reportedly eager to beat other clubs, including Juventus, to secure his signature.

Arsenal have been looking for a reliable striker following a series of injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz. Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen on adding a prolific forward to his squad, with Osimhen’s performances making him a top target.

With just a year left on Osimhen’s contract with Napoli, it seems he could be on the move this summer, and Arsenal appear determined to act quickly.

Would you like to discuss the potential impact of this move for Arsenal or how Osimhen might fit into Arteta’s system?
