The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa, affirmed that the Armed Forces of Nigeria will never surrender to adversity and will always remember the sacrifices of their fallen heroes. Musa made this statement during the 35th anniversary and inauguration of the 41st Regular Course Memorial Park at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna.

Represented by NDA Commandant Maj.-Gen. John Ochai, Musa assured the families of the deceased that their loved ones, who died in service, would be eternally honored. The memorial park, constructed by the NDA’s 41st Regular Course members association, commemorates their course mates who died while serving.

Musa emphasized that fallen heroes were not just soldiers but also family members, and he praised their dedication to protecting the nation’s sovereignty. He expressed gratitude to the 41st Regular Course for their significant contribution to this memorial project, highlighting it as a symbol of their camaraderie and commitment to defending the nation.

The CDS reiterated the Armed Forces’ resolve to remain vigilant, united, and dedicated to upholding the values for which their fallen comrades sacrificed their lives.
