The appointment of Chief Joseph Tegbe as the Director-General of the Global Liaison for the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership has been hailed as a monumental blessing for the nation’s developmental efforts. Mr. Kolawole Amusat-Gbenla, Executive Director of the Centre for Disaster Risk and Crisis Reduction, expressed this sentiment in a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday.
Amusat-Gbenla praised President Bola Tinubu for his track record of identifying and nurturing talent, noting that the president has consistently placed the right individuals in key positions to enhance his administration’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Tegbe’s appointment was officially announced on Sunday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who emphasized that this role will allow Nigeria to reap the benefits of agreements signed with China during Tinubu’s recent visit to the country.
