The Forum of APC State Chairmen has endorsed the National Working Committee’s (NWC) decision to extend the tenure of the Rivers State APC caretaker committee led by Chief Tony Okocha.
At a press conference in Abuja, Forum Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi and Secretary Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq. expressed their support for Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s leadership and resolved to send him a letter of appreciation.
Eba conveyed the forum’s resolutions, stating, “Chief Tony Okocha’s leadership has revitalized the Rivers State APC chapter, making it one of the most active and vibrant. We commend the NWC’s decision and pledge to continue dialogue to build cohesion and lasting peace within the party.”
The forum also acknowledged the contributions of key figures in securing the party’s presidential election victory in Rivers State and reaffirmed their commitment to power rotation between the North and South.
Additionally, the chairmen praised FCT Minister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike for his exceptional performance in infrastructural development, security, and human capital growth, expressing their deep appreciation for his achievements as a minister.
