“APC Forum Urges Ganduje’s Resignation from National Chairman Position”

The Forum of Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called for the resignation of the embattled national chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje. Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, the North-Central chairman of the forum, made this appeal during an interview with newsmen in Jos.

Zazzaga emphasized that the persistent calls for Ganduje’s removal from office, coupled with his insistence on retaining his position, are detrimental to the party’s interests. He criticized the decision of stakeholders from the North-West region who passed a vote of confidence on Ganduje, warning that such actions would only sow confusion within the party.

Highlighting the various protests, litigations, and votes of no confidence against Ganduje, Zazzaga stressed that his continued tenure could hinder the progress of the APC and potentially create legal liabilities for the party. He urged Ganduje to step down voluntarily to prevent further harm.

Zazzaga also advocated for the chairmanship position of the party to be zoned to the North-Central region, arguing that it was only fair and equitable based on party arrangements. He emphasized the region’s contribution to the APC and its role in the emergence of President Bola Tinubu.

As a former member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Zazzaga’s remarks reflect growing concerns within the party regarding Ganduje’s leadership and the need for regional balance in key positions.
