Tobi Amusan has secured her place in the semifinals of the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2024 Olympic Games, winning her heat with a time of 12.49 seconds.

Alaysha Johnson finished second with 12.61 seconds, and Janeek Brown took third at 12.84 seconds. The 27-year-old Amusan, a gold medal favorite, is looking to improve on her fourth-place finish from Tokyo 2020. The semifinals are set to take place at Stade de France on Thursday.
