Álvaro Morata has addressed the recent separation from his wife, Alice Campello, following heavy speculation about the reasons behind their split. The couple, who have four children together, announced their separation last month. Reports in Spain had suggested infidelity as a factor, but Morata has firmly denied these claims.
Speaking to TVE, Morata stated, “It’s false. I was never unfaithful to her; she is the most important woman in my life.” He emphasized that the decision to end their relationship was mutual, driven by their desire to move forward separately. Morata also mentioned that despite the separation, they maintain a positive relationship for the sake of their children.
He added that one of the factors contributing to their decision was Alice Campello’s wish to remain in Spain, which conflicted with Morata’s career moves. The former Real Madrid and Chelsea striker highlighted that their primary focus now is to ensure the well-being of their children while accepting that their relationship has come to an end.
