Action thriller with Raz Adeoti, Ireti Doyle ‘Son of the Soil’ wraps up production

The Nigerian action-thriller film “Son of the Soil” has completed production, marking an exciting venture into Nigerian cinema for Action Xtreme CEO Chee Keong Cheung. The film features a compelling storyline centered around Zion Ladejo, a former Nigerian soldier grappling with haunting memories from his past. After the tragic death of his sister, Zion returns to Nigeria driven by a quest for vengeance and redemption.

British-Nigerian actor Raz Adoti takes on the lead role of Zion Ladejo, supported by seasoned Nigerian actors Ireti Doyle and Damilola Ogunsi. The film is not only a showcase of action-packed sequences but also promises to celebrate Nigeria’s diverse culture and scenic landscapes, providing a rich backdrop to the narrative.

Cheung expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with the Nigerian cast and crew, highlighting the dynamic environments and cultural richness that influenced the film’s production. His studio, Action Xtreme, known for its focus on action-oriented content, aims to deliver an immersive cinematic experience that entertains global audiences while showcasing the beauty of Nigeria.

Co-produced by Cheung and Nigeria-based Wingonia Ikpi, who also serves as the casting director through her company Boxonia Blueprint, “Son of the Soil” features a talented ensemble cast including Sunshine Rosman, Philip Asaya, Taye Arimoro, Emeka Golden, Sharon Rotimi, and James ‘BlacQ’ Damilare.
