A member of the PDP’s Board of Trustees (BoT), Oyedokun, has parted ways with the party, expressing dissatisfaction with what he perceives as contamination of the founding fathers’ principles.

A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT), Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun, has resigned from the main opposition party. In his resignation letter, addressed to the National Chairman of the party through various party levels, Oyedokun expressed regret that the core principles of the party’s founding members have been compromised.

The former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP further declared his intention to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stating his belief that his experience, contributions, and leadership would be better recognized and appreciated within the APC. Oyedokun emphasized that his decision was made after consultation with his supporters within the PDP.
