Darasimi, the estranged wife of comedian Ganiu Morufu, aka Ijoba Lande, has now addressed the infidelity allegations made by her husband, which had caused a stir in the media. During a recent interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers, Dara defended herself, insisting that infidelity was not the cause of her marital breakdown.
Dara explained that the incident involving Babatunde Tayo (Baba Tee) occurred during a “Truth or Dare” game, which was initiated by her friend Marygold. She claimed that the encounter was not as serious as suggested by her husband, emphasizing that she only sat on Baba Tee’s lap during the game, and no sexual act took place. According to Dara, she was intoxicated from drinking alcohol and participating in the game, while Marygold and Baba Tee were also using marijuana. She clarified, “I only sat on his lap; we didn’t do anything.”
Addressing the claims made by Lande, Dara firmly denied the allegations of infidelity, challenging him to provide evidence of her supposed cheating. She stated that the end of their marriage had personal reasons, but it was not due to any infidelity on her part.
This comes after Baba Tee admitted to having a brief sexual encounter with Dara, during a similar game, but now insists it was a mistake while he was drunk and does not reflect the nature of the relationship.
Dara’s statement is a direct response to Lande’s public claims that she was involved with at least 21 men from the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee, which he said led to the breakdown of their marriage.
While Baba Tee apologized publicly to Lande for the incident, Dara has maintained that she did not cheat and urged her ex-husband to provide concrete proof. The ongoing drama between the comedian, his estranged wife, and Baba Tee continues to unfold, with each party offering differing accounts of the events.
