Dr. Josef Onoh, former campaign spokesman for President Bola Tinubu in the South East, and Pastor Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, have both applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Iyom Bianca Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
In separate statements made on Wednesday, Onoh and Omokri extended their congratulations to Bianca Ojukwu, the former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain and daughter of the late former Governor of Old Anambra State, Chief C.C. Onoh.
Josef Onoh, Bianca’s younger brother, celebrated her as a symbol of the Onoh family’s legacy, noting that their late parents and Bianca’s late husband, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, would be proud of her accomplishments. He commended her resilience and determination in upholding her husband’s legacy and expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s decision. Onoh stated, “My sister has demonstrated resilience and the strength to carry on, keeping the flag flying to sustain her husband’s legacy. I congratulate her on this well-deserved appointment, and I am confident that President Tinubu will not regret this decision.”
Reno Omokri also took to his Facebook page to praise Bianca, describing her appointment as a fitting choice. He highlighted her elegance and dedication to Nigeria’s foreign relations, stating, “Congratulations, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu. President Tinubu has made a perfect choice. You embody the class and dignity needed to elevate Nigeria’s foreign affairs.” Omokri expressed confidence in her ability to excel in the new role, adding that she is an “epitome of beauty and duty to your country.”
Both Onoh and Omokri emphasized that Bianca Ojukwu’s appointment is a positive and well-deserved recognition of her diplomatic and leadership qualities.
