Bobrisky Detained by Nigeria Immigration Service at FCID

Cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, spent Monday night at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) annex in Alagbon, Lagos. He was arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border while allegedly attempting to leave the country.

Following his arrest, Bobrisky was taken to the FCID for further investigation, and reports indicate that he may remain in detention as detectives look into the circumstances surrounding his arrest. Sources from the FCID mentioned plans to obtain a remand order for his continued detention.

A statement regarding Bobrisky’s situation is anticipated to be released by the FCID today. NIS spokesman Kenneth Udo confirmed the arrest, referring to Bobrisky as “a person of interest.” He emphasized the NIS’s commitment to border security, stating that Okuneye was intercepted during an attempt to exit Nigeria.
