POLICE COMMAND CONDEMNS OFFICERS’ UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ukandu, has issued a strong warning regarding the unprofessional conduct of officers in the state, prompted by a viral video circulating on social media.

Ukandu denounced the behavior depicted in the video, asserting that those responsible would face consequences. He confirmed that disciplinary actions against the involved officers have already commenced.

“We unequivocally condemn their actions and have identified the officers involved; disciplinary actions have already been initiated against them,” the PPRO stated.

He emphasized that the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Anthonia Uche-Anya, has reiterated a zero-tolerance policy towards extortion and any form of misconduct. Ukandu stressed that officers found guilty of such behavior would be held accountable.
