NATIONAL BUREAU OF STATISTICS REPORTS INCREASE IN COOKING GAS AND KEROSENE PRICES FOR SEPTEMBER 2024

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has reported a significant increase in cooking gas prices for September 2024, with the average cost of a 5kg cylinder rising from N6,430.02 in August to N6,699.63. This marks a 4.19% increase month-on-month and a 59.90% rise compared to N4,189.96 in September 2023.
