On Tuesday, the Naira depreciated at the official market, trading at N1,658.97 to the dollar. Data from the FMDQ Exchange’s official trading platform indicated that the Naira lost N106.05, reflecting a 6.82 percent decline compared to the previous trading date when it exchanged at N1,552.92 per dollar.
Additionally, the total daily turnover in the foreign exchange market decreased to $217.86 million on Tuesday, down from $343.71 million recorded on Monday.
At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the Naira traded within a range of N1,670.50 and N1,556.29 against the dollar, highlighting the ongoing volatility in the currency market.
