Aston Villa manager Unai Emery expressed his satisfaction after his team played out a goalless draw against Manchester United, extending their unbeaten streak to five Premier League games and eight matches across all competitions.

Tactical Adjustments
Speaking after the match, Emery admitted that his team struggled in the first half but was pleased with their improved second-half performance following some tactical adjustments. “In the first half, we didn’t control the match as we prepared. But in the second half, we adjusted positions, and the players reacted better,” Emery explained.

Villa looked more threatening after the break, and despite Bruno Fernandes hitting the crossbar for Manchester United, Emery felt his side were the better team. “They had one good chance, but I think we were the better team,” he added.

Looking Ahead
With the international break approaching, Emery welcomed the opportunity to rest and recover. He expressed optimism about the return of key players such as Boubacar Kamara and Tyrone Mings, saying, “It’s a nice moment to rest. We are going to add Kamara and Mings, which is very important for us.”

The break provides Villa with a chance to recuperate after a demanding September and continue their strong run of form heading into the next phase of the season.
