Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi has announced the dismissal of Coach Eugene Agagbe following a disappointing start to the 2024-2025 NPFL season. In a statement issued by the club’s Head of Media, Emmanuel Uja, it was revealed that the decision came after Agagbe’s failure to meet a target of five wins, securing just one victory and three losses. The club has appointed former Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Amokachi, as the new Technical Adviser in a bid to turn the team’s fortunes around.
The club also announced that all backroom staff members have been relieved of their duties and must reapply if they wish to continue with the team. This shake-up reflects the club’s determination to improve its performance in the ongoing season.
