The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion to facilitate the installation of a truck barrier at the Ojuelegba flyover bridge, located near the fire station.
Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, stated that the diversion will take place from 10:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, to 5:00 AM on Sunday, October 6.
Motorists traveling from Eko Bridge, Costain, and Iponri inbound towards Ojuelegba are advised to utilize the service lane from the National Stadium gate to link Barracks and reach their desired destinations.
Osiyemi urged motorists to exercise patience during this brief closure, emphasizing that the nighttime schedule is part of a traffic management strategy aimed at preventing accidents and ensuring public safety.
