President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued a stern warning to terrorists and insurgents, urging them to surrender or face a renewed military offensive. This statement was made during the opening of the News Agency of Nigeria’s (NAN) inaugural Annual International Lecture held in Abuja.

The lecture, themed “Insecurity in the Sahel (2008-2024): Dissecting Nigeria’s Challenges – Genesis, Impacts and Options,” was organized as part of NAN’s initiatives to address the growing threats of insecurity affecting Nigeria and neighboring countries.
