While addressing the audience, Okpebholo stated, “We are here with our leader, Adams Oshiomhole, in conjunction with my deputy and the state chairman of our party to say a big thank you to you. We contested the election, and by his grace, we have won. The next step is to develop Edo State.”

He emphasized that he has the blessings of both God and the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, as he embarks on his governance journey. “Today we are here to say thank you and extend his greetings to you,” he added.

In response, Governor Uzodimma pledged his continued support for Okpebholo, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver good governance to the people of Edo State.
