Goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka in the first half proved too much for the Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), who struggled to mount a meaningful response.

After the game, Luis Enrique, the head coach of PSG, took full responsibility for the defeat, acknowledging Arsenal’s superiority.

“I take the blame for this loss,” Enrique stated unequivocally. “I am responsible for this.”

ENRIQUE PRAISES ARSENAL’S INTENSITY

Enrique praised Arsenal’s intensity and work rate, admitting that his team was outmuscled throughout the match.

“Arsenal were much better in terms of intensity and pressure. They won every duel,” he noted.

The defeat serves as a reality check for PSG, who currently sit atop the Ligue 1 table. They will aim to rebound against OGC Nice on Sunday.
