Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau Recalls Suspended Officials

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has officially recalled two commissioners, a special adviser, and a liaison officer who had been suspended for nearly two months. The announcement was made by Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA) to the governor, in a statement issued in Jos.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the suspended officials included Chrysanthus Dawam, the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Jamila Tukur, the Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality. Also suspended were Dio Lamul, the Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Moses Sule, the Liaison Officer for the Mikang constituency. No specific reasons were provided for their initial suspension.

Bere stated that the decision to recall the affected officials was made following a thorough review and acknowledgment of significant improvements in their conduct. He confirmed that the recalled officials would be reinstated in various positions within the state government.
