According to BBC News, Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee announced that he and his firm would be representing victims of alleged abuse, including minors who were victimized as young as nine years old.
Among the claims is a 15-year-old girl who was reportedly drugged and raped at a party in New York City. Buzbee stated that such incidents, including album release parties, New Year’s Eve celebrations, and Combs’ notorious ‘White Parties,’ were frequently the venues for these alleged assaults.
During a press conference, Buzbee claimed that around 3,000 individuals contacted his firm for representation against Diddy, which they narrowed down to 120 after thoroughly investigating their claims.
“All were seeking either TV or some sort of music career with promises of, you know, ‘We’re going to make you a star,’” Buzbee stated. “Instead, Combs did things to them so they don’t want to have anything to do with the entertainment industry ever again.”
He added, “The ages of the victims when the conduct occurred is shocking. The youngest victim was nine years old; we have individuals who were 14 and 15 years old.”
Erica Wolff, a lawyer for Diddy, stated that the rapper “emphatically and categorically” denies the allegations, labeling them as “false and defamatory.”
These new allegations emerge as Diddy faces an impending trial for sex trafficking, racketeering, and sexual abuse. He was arrested on Monday, September 17, 2024, at the Park Hyatt Hotel on 57th Street in Manhattan, taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations at approximately 8:15 p.m.
