Real Madrid has included Kylian Mbappe in their squad for the Champions League match against Lille on Wednesday, following his recovery from a thigh injury that had sidelined him for one match.

Initially expected to be out until after the upcoming international break, Mbappe has made a swift return to fitness. He sustained the injury during last Tuesday’s La Liga victory over Alaves and was unable to participate in Sunday’s 1-1 derby draw against Atletico Madrid.

Madrid’s coach Carlo Ancelotti named Mbappe in the squad on Monday for the trip to France, where they will face Ligue 1 side Lille, who will be missing the striker’s injured brother, Ethan.

However, Los Blancos goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was left out of the squad due to a hip muscle injury sustained during the match against Atletico.
