Comedian DeeOne has advised activist VeryDarkMan to refrain from involving singer Falz and his father, Femi Falana, in the ongoing controversy between Bobrisky and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The dispute centers on claims that EFCC officers allegedly accepted N15 million from Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, to dismiss money laundering charges against him.

The allegations surfaced after a viral audio recording, produced by VeryDarkMan, in which Bobrisky, an ex-convict, claimed that Falz and his father, Femi Falana, suggested that Bobrisky could apply for a pardon to avoid serving his full prison sentence.

DeeOne defended Falz and Femi Falana’s involvement, stating that there was nothing wrong with them intervening. He emphasized that not everyone should hate Bobrisky just because he has enemies, referencing a situation where VeryDarkMan reached out to Davido for help with singer Dammy Krane’s legal troubles. DeeOne further questioned whether Bobrisky would have gone to prison if he had legal representation like Femi Falana.

Meanwhile, the EFCC has invited Bobrisky and Otse to its Lagos Directorate to investigate the truth behind the allegations. Bobrisky’s recent claims follow previous legal issues, including a six-month prison sentence for spraying Naira notes at public events.
