Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has condemned the explosions of hundreds of pagers across Lebanon on Tuesday, calling it a “terrorist act” and attributing the blame to Israel. In discussions with Lebanese counterpart Abdallah Bou Habib, Araghchi expressed condolences and offered support, according to Iran’s Foreign Ministry.

Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon was among those injured in the blasts but is reported to be in stable condition. Araghchi also inquired about the ambassador’s wife and his overall condition.

The explosions, which occurred across several regions, primarily in Hezbollah-controlled areas, resulted in nine fatalities and approximately 2,800 injuries. Many of those injured were members of Hezbollah, which has accused Israel of orchestrating the attacks and announced plans for retaliation.
