During the closure of the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course for corps members in Iseyin, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, represented by Commissioner for Youths and Sports Alhaja Wasilat Adegoke, emphasized the importance of engaging in productive activities and shunning anti-social behaviors. He encouraged the corps members to utilize the skills acquired during the camp for societal improvement and urged them to focus on job creation rather than job seeking by the end of their service year.

NYSC State Coordinator Mr. Abel Odoba advised employers to view corps members as future leaders in need of proper guidance and support. He appealed for adequate provision of basic needs such as accommodation and allowances, and encouraged corps members to be committed, law-abiding, and proactive in integrating with their host communities while acquiring skills for personal development.
