Super Falcons midfielder, Ngozi Okobi, has announced the birth of her child.
The 30-year-old footballer shared the joyful news on her X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, stating: “Congratulations to me. #godbepraised #iamamother #newmom. I am in my new season #NSPPD.”
In addition to her football career, Okobi, who plays for Levante Las Planas, has been married to her husband, Okeoghene, for seven years.
Ngozi Okobi has represented Nigeria in several major tournaments, including the 2010 U-17 Women’s World Cup, the 2010 WAFCON, and the 2012 FIFA U-20 World Cup. She has also competed in the 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2022 WAFCON tournaments, as well as the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cups.
