LORD’S CHOSEN MINISTRIES ADDRESSES MOCKERY OF TESTIMONY

< 1 mn read

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has responded to recent online mockery of a testimony, asserting that the church does not fabricate testimonies. Pastor Chidi Louis, Head of Public Relations and Media, addressed allegations regarding a viral video in which a church member claimed to have disarmed four armed robbers and obtained an “AK-27.” He clarified that the video was fabricated.

Louis emphasized that the testimony in question actually occurred in a dream, not in reality. He urged Nigerians to disregard the fake video and refer to the church’s official platform for the full, accurate testimony.

He cautioned against believing everything seen online, noting that bloggers often distort content to discredit religious institutions. The church’s media department also condemned the video as false and provided the complete testimony on its TikTok account, clarifying the story as a dream.

The controversy arose from a video where a woman’s testimony about defeating robbers and acquiring a pistol was mistakenly labeled as an “AK-27,” which was later corrected to “AK-47” by a pastor.
