The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has condemned the mockery of recent viral testimony videos shared by its members, emphasizing that the Church does not fabricate testimonies.
The Church cautioned Nigerians against believing everything seen online, criticizing some bloggers for their misleading and out-of-context portrayals.
In response to viral videos of seemingly unbelievable testimonies, the Church clarified that these videos were doctored.
One testimony featured a member claiming to have been lifted and transported by a lion. Another video showed a woman saying she fought off robbers and seized their rifles. A third video depicted a man who claimed to have survived multiple attacks without injury.
Pastor Chidi Louis, the Church’s Head of Public Relations and Media, stated that the videos were edited to discredit the Church’s work. He urged the public to view the complete testimonies on the Church’s official platforms for accurate context. The Church’s media department and TikTok handle also released the full versions, revealing that the testimonies occurred in dreams rather than reality.
