Immigify, a leading immigration technology company, has teamed up with AfroHealth, a Google-backed digital health company, to offer around 250 Nigerian health and nursing assistants the chance to secure employment in the United States.

Emma Olorunsheyi, co-founder and CEO of Immigify, highlighted the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the U.S. healthcare system, making this initiative highly relevant.

The collaboration aims to provide Nigerian candidates with opportunities for career advancement, financial stability, and U.S. Green Card acquisition.

“We’re streamlining the process for Nigerians who want to work in the U.S. healthcare sector,” Olorunsheyi stated. “This program is designed for individuals with at least an O’level qualification and an interest in a healthcare career abroad.”

Successful candidates will participate in a six-week training program to prepare for the U.S. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exams. Once they pass the exams, Immigify will handle their EB-3 visa application, a category for health workers and other professionals.

In addition to job placement, the program offers broader benefits such as international work experience, higher earning potential, and long-term security for participants and their families. Newly qualified nursing assistants in the U.S. can earn between $20 and $40 per hour.

Olorunsheyi expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with AfroHealth, noting that the program presents a unique opportunity for both professional and personal growth. Participants will receive comprehensive support throughout the process, from visa applications to adapting to life and work in the U.S.

With limited slots available, this program presents a valuable chance for Nigerians to embark on a new career path and secure a better future.
