The Transparency Network and Public Interest Initiative has called on Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun to take immediate action regarding a petition filed by the Abiola Estate. The petition alleges misconduct, including fraud and unauthorized diversion of funds.

Dr. Ehizojie Emmanuel Anderson, spokesperson for the group, voiced concerns over the perceived inaction from the IGP’s office, suggesting it reflects a lack of commitment to tackling corruption.

The group stressed the importance of transparency and accountability, urging the IGP to enforce the law and safeguard the interests of all parties involved in this complex matter.
