The Nigerian Army has successfully eliminated the notorious terrorist kingpin Halilu Buzu and several of his fighters in Mayanchi village, Zamfara. The operation involved a decisive offensive against the terrorists, who fiercely resisted but were ultimately overwhelmed by the army’s firepower. The troops recovered various weapons and equipment, including RPG guns, AK-47 rifles, and motorcycles, and destroyed the terrorists’ camp. They are continuing their efforts in the region.
