Fans eager to watch the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Amavubi of Rwanda in Kigali will face a steep ticket price.

The match, set to be played at the 45,000-capacity Amahoro National Stadium, will see tickets for Sky Boxes, which accommodate eight people, priced at approximately ₦1,235,063. Business Suite tickets are available for 50,000 Rwandan Francs (about ₦61,753) per person.

For those seeking more affordable options, the least expensive tickets will cost 3,000 RWF (₦3,705), while VIP tickets are priced at 20,000 RWF (about ₦24,701).

The Federation of Rwandan Football stands to make significant revenue from the game, given the high ticket prices and strong interest from affluent Rwandan celebrities and fans.

Nigeria, who topped their group after a 3-0 victory over Benin Republic, will face the Amavubi, who drew 1-1 with Libya in their opening match. The game is crucial as Nigeria looks to continue their winning streak in the qualifiers.

Ahead of this high-profile clash, the Amavubi recorded a 1-0 victory against Police FC in a friendly, preparing for the encounter with Nigeria.

The Group D match is scheduled for 2:00 pm Nigerian time at Amahoro Stadium. The two teams will meet again in November in Nigeria, and later in March 2025 as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
