President Bola Tinubu has granted approval for the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia to be converted into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital in Nasarawa. This decision was made following a request from the Nasarawa State government.
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, announced the approval in a statement on Wednesday. He highlighted that the conversion of the hospital will significantly enhance the training of students in medical and allied sciences and improve healthcare services in the state.
President Tinubu reiterated his commitment to ensuring the social welfare and healthcare security of Nigerians, emphasizing that his administration will continue to aggressively invest in the healthcare sector.
